CineTone Presets

Start your grade from a film frame you already love

You know the look you want because you have seen it in a film. CineTone starts there. Every preset is built by reading the color out of real film frames, most of them from A24 releases, so you begin from a grade that actually existed on screen. Browsing the gallery and every LUT page is open to anyone, no account needed.

Free to browse the gallery and every LUT page, no account. A free account adds ratings, reviews, and making your own LUTs. A $29 lifetime tier is planned, but checkout is not built yet, so nothing is for sale today.

Who it's for

  • Editors chasing a look they can picture

You can describe the grade you want but not the steps that get you there. Starting from a preset built off a real frame puts you near the target on the first try, instead of pushing sliders and hoping.

  • Filmmakers after the A24 feel

That muted, sun-faded look people mean when they say a film looks like A24. Those presets are grouped by film, so you start from one movie's color rather than something generic labelled cinematic.

  • Creators who need every video to match

Twenty clips a month, and they all have to look like they belong to the same channel. Pick one look and reuse it, so color is a decision you make once instead of on every upload.

Use cases

  • Find the film, find the look

The gallery filters by collection and the A24 presets are grouped by film, so you can go to a specific movie's color instead of scrolling a wall of names that tell you nothing.

  • Make a LUT from a frame you like

Upload a screenshot from any film and CineTone reads its color and writes you a .cube file. Load it in Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut, or Lightroom like any other LUT.

  • Match one shot to another

Give it your own frame and the frame you want it to look like, and it works out the difference between the two. Useful when a shot from a second camera refuses to sit with the rest.

  • See what other editors thought

Every LUT page carries star ratings and written reviews from people who have used it, so the ones that hold up are easy to spot.
